DropIn credits and gift cards
DropIn credits are money in your DropIn wallet. They pay for bookings at any DropIn center.
Open your wallet
Tap the wallet button at the top of the screen. It shows your DropIn Credits balance, and your gift cards, coupons and packages.
How you get credits
- Refunds: when you cancel a booking, the refund goes to your credits.
- Buy credits: tap Buy credits. Some bundles include bonus credit.
- Gift cards from another parent.
- Promotions and invites.
How credits are used
Credits apply automatically at checkout. You can turn this off on the Review & Confirm screen with the Pay with DropIn credits switch. If your credits do not cover the full price, your card pays the rest.
Do credits expire?
- Credits you buy, gift card credits and refund credits do not expire.
- Credits from a promotion can expire. The wallet shows the date.
- Credits from invites expire after 12 months.
Demo credit
Some accounts get demo credit to try DropIn. Demo credit has no cash value. It is used first when you pay.
Send a gift card
- In the wallet, tap Send a gift card.
- Choose $25, $50, $100 or $200, or enter an amount up to $500.
- Enter the person's email, and a name and note if you want.
- Tap Send.
We email the gift card to the person. If it is not redeemed after 7 days, you can open it and tap Reclaim to my wallet. You can also tap Resend email.
Redeem a gift card
In the wallet, tap Redeem a code, enter the 16-character gift card code, and tap Redeem. The credit goes to your wallet.
Wallet on hold
If a card payment was disputed (a chargeback) and your balance went below zero, the wallet shows Wallet on hold. You cannot use or buy credits until this is cleared. You can still pay with a card. Tap Account > Contact support for help.
