# Why a payout is delayed or not paid

Each row on your Earnings screen has a payout status that tells you where the money is and what to do.

## Find the status

1. Open **Earnings & Payouts** (on your phone, tap **Earnings**).
2. Find the booking or package sale in the **Earnings Breakdown** table.
3. Read the badge in the **Payout** column. On a computer, point at the badge for a short explanation.

## Statuses that need you

- **Connect Stripe to get paid.** You earned this money, but Stripe is not set up yet. Go to the **Payment Setup** tab and tap **Connect with Stripe**, or **Continue Stripe Setup** if you started already. We send the money automatically when Stripe is ready.
- **On hold until your license is verified.** You earned this money, but we have not verified your license yet. Tap the badge or **Go to your license** in the banner and upload your license. We send the money automatically once it is verified.
- **Awaiting checkout.** The payout starts after you check the child out. If you do not, the booking closes on its own some time after your closing time.

A banner at the top of the screen shows the total waiting for Stripe setup or license review.

## Statuses that need nothing from you

- **Scheduled.** The payout is in its hold period. On a computer, point at the badge to see when it releases.
- **Sending.** The money is on its way to your Stripe account.
- **Transferred.** The money is in your Stripe account. Stripe pays it out to your bank.
- **Payout delayed.** The payout is delayed on our side. You do not need to do anything.
- **On hold.** Our team is reviewing this payout, for example after a low review rating.
- **Failed.** The transfer did not go through. Our team will retry.

## Statuses with no payout

- **Skipped.** There is no payout because the booking was canceled or refunded.
- **Reversed.** The money was sent, then taken back because of a refund or a payment dispute.
- **Demo booking, not paid out.** The parent paid with DropIn demo credit, so there is no payout for this booking.
- **Test center, not paid out.** Payouts are off for your center. A "Test center" banner also shows at the top of the screen.
- **Prepaid package.** You were paid for this day when the parent bought the package. See "How package sales are paid".

## Transferred but not in your bank?

Tap **Open Stripe Dashboard** on the Earnings screen to check your Stripe payouts.
