# Getting started with DropIn

DropIn lets you book flexible, on-demand childcare at licensed centers near you. You pay per session in the app, with no contract and no monthly fee.

## Download the app

DropIn is available on the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). Search for **DropIn Care**.

## Sign in

You need an account to use DropIn. Open the app and choose one of these:

- **Continue with Google**
- **Continue with Apple** (iPhone only)
- **Continue with Email**: enter your email address and tap **Send Code**. We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it to sign in.

There is no password. Each time you sign in with email, you get a new code.

> If Google sign-in does not work, tap **Use email instead** and sign in with a code.

## Set up your account

The first time you sign in, the app asks for three things:

1. **Your name.** Centers see it when you book, so they know who is dropping off. The last name is optional.
2. **Your location.** Tap **Continue** to let DropIn show centers near you, or **Not now**. You can set a home address later in **Account > Home Address**.
3. **A code (optional).** If a friend or your daycare gave you an invite code, enter it here and tap **Apply code**. Otherwise tap **Skip**.
